Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive

Since 2007, Burlington Coat Factory has partnered with ABC’s Good Morning America and the national non-profit organization, One Warm Coat, on the annual Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Drive. Each year, Burlington stores nationwide collect gently worn coats that in turn are distributed locally to folks in need through One Warm Coat. The coat drive is then promoted on Good Morning America throughout the duration of the program.

This year’s 4th Annual Warm Coats & Warm Hearts Drive has collected nearly 220,000 gently-worn coats. Since the program’s inception, close to one million coats have been collected and distributed, providing warmth to those in need during the cold winter months.
In addition, through the generosity of Burlington customers, close to $250,000 has been collected over the past year at Burlington locations. These funds are then converted into new kids coats, keeping children in need warm throughout the country.

Through the continued philanthropic efforts of Burlington’s customers and partners, those in need are now able to enjoy the comfort of a warm coat.
